Makeup trends // Lips // 2-tone

With popstars and celebs such as Gaga, RiRi & Jessie J expressing themselves through bold makeup looks....AND alternative lip colours/ tattoos becoming more accessible....lip colours have never been so daring as they are today. I think you will agree that it is more common to see girls (and boys!) rocking more 'out there' looks on the highstreet. I love it!!

The two-tone lip started cropping up in 2009 ....with Tom Pecheux for MAC using it in the Emanuel Ungaro show, and was seen in following seasons by many artists.

A combo I have been wearing on myself a while is NARS schiap and NARS red square... You can be as bold as you like or make it super, super subtle, like using two different shades of the same colour. Tailor it to how you feel comfortable.
